Our dance philosophy
A&E Ballroom is committed to providing exceptional dance instruction - both in private and group classes - plus social dances where students and the public can enjoy open dance with a variety of partners.

We have classes at all skill levels - novice to advance - and in American and international styles. Group classes are available at all levels, and private lessons will get you "up to speed" quickly.
Most of all, you will find A&E lessons and socials fun and exciting. Our social dances feature great dancing and the best music in town.
Not only is A&E a fun place to learn to dance, but it is owned by professionals who have studied the art of dance and coaching and take pride in the progress of every student.

A&E's owners, Sebastian and Brigitte Wrenn, are former champions, top competitors and award winners in numerous categories and events. They have an impressive background as instructors, performers and choreographers.
Sebastian also has a dual fellow degree and is a certified professional examiner. Both here in the USA as well as abroad, the Wrenns are members of several dance organizations.
After many years of training, studying and teaching in the U.S., they spent 17 years owning and operating studios in Europe before returning to the metropolitan Charlotte area and opening A&E Ballroom.
